Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
